Hiroshima is a very important city in the world as a city of world peace.

Hiroshima was reconstructed after it was attacked by an Atomic bomb in 1945, and it is now the 10th biggest city in Japan, and well known as a symbolic city. Peace and Reconstruction are the symbols of Hiroshima.

 
Hiroshima has two World Heritage Sites.

The Atomic Bomb Dome in Peace Memorial Park and Itsukushima Shrine are both World Heritage Sites. Itsukushima Shrine is beautifully integrates traditional Japanese construction with the mountains and sea.

Prayers from people all over the world create a lyrical scene of traditional Japanese culture and nature that leads you into a spiritual and peaceful atmosphere.

Itsukushima Shrine   Atom Bomb Dome

Tourists from all over the world visit Miyajima Island to appreciate Hiroshima’s picturesque scenery. Itsukushima Shrine is located in the center of Miyajima Island. The shrine’s vermillion-colored Otorii gate and corridor create a lyrical atmosphere and enthrall people of all ages.

 

The Atomic Bomb Dome was registered as a World Heritage Site in 1996. Many tourists visit it and the neighboring Peace Memorial Park.

Downtown Hiroshima City

In the Chugoku and Shikoku region, Hiroshima is the largest and easiest city to live in and has many tourist areas, commerce areas, shopping centers and professional sport teams.

Hiroshima Castle   Mazda Stadium

Built by Load Temumoto Mori in the Age of Civil Wars, the castle’s moat is encircled by a wide of variety of cherry blossoms in spring.

 

Mazda Zoom Zoom Stadium was built in 2009 as the home stadium for Hiroshima’s  professional baseball team ‘Hiroshima Toyo Carp’.

Hiroshima Hondori Shopping Street   Kamiyacho Shareo

Hondori, the busiest street in the Chugoku and Shikoku area, is an indispensable shopping area for local citizens and tourists.

 

This underground shopping mall is located underground in the Kamiyacho area, in downtown  Hiroshima city, and holds various events in the center hall.

Street Car    
As a means of transportation for local citizens and tourists, Hiroshima street cars are not only low-priced and convenient for shopping and commuting in Hiroshima city, they are also a tourist attraction.
